Goal

Tussock Jumper is a premium wine brand with wines from eleven different countries. To promote some of the wines from their collection, we created an Augmented Reality (AR) app.

Winner of the Silver Halo Award in the category ‘Applied’!

Answer

The Tussock Jumper app lets people scan a Tussock Jumper bottle with their smart phone camera. The app recognises the bottle and the augmented reality appears automatically, resulting in the animal on the bottle coming to life and talking about the wine. It gives information about the taste, the origin of the wine and some additional information and suggestions about other wines from within the same region.
