Accell Group produces bicycles, bicycle parts and accessories. Different bicycle brands under the umbrella of Accell are Sparta, Batavus, Koga, Lapierre, Ghost, Winora, Raleigh and XLC. Accell are the European market leader in e-bikes and second largest company in producing bicycle parts and accessories. 

In my role as Design Lead, I was enrolled on improving a multi-country white-label e-commerce platform, while working as part of a multidisciplinary scrum team.

The pressure point on this project was working on a white label solution whilst meeting the various requirements from multiple brands. By working on general improvements, in order for all the different brands profit from, we could therefore continuously improve the customer experience on the different brands’ webshops.

By guiding the users through the process of orientating on which bike is the best fit, we could then lead them seamlessly through to the final steps of completion of their purchase.
